Help! Reaction to Facial Waxing!?

I am fair skined, and had blonde hair on my face, so I used some Sally Hansen's Wax to try and remove it. Well it worked for the most part, except I noticed my skin looked strange, uneven, splotchy afterward, but I just figure it was normal because I'd just ripped hair off my face which was painful!

Now it's been 5 days and it has only gotten worse, it looks like I have a bunch of ingrown hairs all over my face!!! There are little white puss filled bumps everywhere that I waxed, it's so embarassing.

What can I do to help this go down and go away, considering it's been 5 days already and it looks worse everyday! I've continued to wash my face as usual and put on aloe vera gel.

What else can I do??? Do I just have to wait it out?

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them???Help! Reaction to Facial Waxing!?
I've used the same stuff very recently and it's happened multiple times.

You should just tweeze your hair. It may take a while the first time if you have a lot of hair, but if you do it every other day, then it would be about 10 mins at most, and soon they'd grow back more slowly.

If you wait it out, there will be bumps and scars. But either way you have to wait it out til those go away. Good luck to ye, :)Help! Reaction to Facial Waxing!?
Sounds like you had a ';burn like'; allergic reaction to the waxing. I wouldn't use that again. Try treating it like a burn with cold compresses. Just wet a wash cloth in cold water and hold it on your face for about 10 minutes. Keep wringing the cloth out in cold water to keep it cold. Do this 2-3 times a day (or more if you have time) and apply your Aloe Vera Gel to it.

This may help heal it a little faster but for the most part, you'll have to wait it out. Sorry.

Hope this helps!
