What store in Germany carries facial wax??

I need to buy some facial wax but we only have a Kaufmarkt, Schlecker, a Netto, Aldi, and Lidl in our little town.What store in Germany carries facial wax??

I do the same thing here in the US when I am in desperate need of some German thing I miss. Amazon is always very quick and very reliable.

hun, go to Karstadt, Schlecker, Mueller, any Drugstore has wax strips. I personaly like Veet. It is a yellow package and it says : Wax Streifen fuer das Gesicht, look for kleine Streifen (small stips) and Gesicht = Face~!

@Alwin, lieber Alwin, heute muss ich dich doch mal korriegieren, Wax gibt es mittlerweile ueberall, sogar bei meinem REWE um die Ecke....dafuer muss man nicht in die Apotheke.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there is such a thing as facial wax in German supermarkets. At least, I've never seen any in any store I went to.


I would try a ';Kosmetikerin';. She won't just sell it to you, she will want to do the whole package, but after a couple of appointments with her, she might be persuaded to sell you some. YOu will find a ';Kosmetikerin'; in the phone book/yellow pages.

If you don't find it at Schlecker under ';Gesichtswachs'; then ask either in the Apotheke or at a Parfuemerie ';Douglas';.

Try a pharmacy (';Apotheke';). As facial wax (';Gesichtswachs';) is considered a medical product, it's only available there. (Just like Aspirin; you don't get it at supermarkets.)
