How do you get facial hot wax off of a carpet?

i was waxing and the wax was still hot when it spilled on my carpet and got all over the place when i tried to clean it up it was a hugh mess....please i need help....How do you get facial hot wax off of a carpet?
For spilled wax on carpets and upholstery, put a brown paper bag over the dried wax and run a hot iron over it. The bag will absorb the hot wax. Clumped dried wax on wood floors can be removed by chipping off most of the wax and using a hair dryer to soften and use brown lunch bag. Agitate area with carpet cleaning solution such as (folex or resolve)or just plain vinegar and water.

get a new carpet
Try placing a paper towel or paper bag on top and then gently press with a iron using steam setting. The wax should melt and absorb into the paper towel. Repeat as necessary until all wax is lifted. I would not use chemical cleaners with this process as harmful gases could arise or even a fire if product is flammable.
