Im a guy is waxing your facial hair bad?

Im a young guy and i have a little bit of hair growing on my upper lip and chin, well i let a friend of mine wax it off. When my dad saw he freaked out saying thats bad for you now its going to look bad when it grows out. Saying thing like the root is destroy and the hair will be yellow and weak. Is any truth to this or is he over reacting and is it perfectly harmless?Im a guy is waxing your facial hair bad?

No, it's not bad for you. However, REPEATED waxing can cause the hair to become weaker (easier to pull out), finer, lighter in colour, slower to regrow and for some hairs not to grow back at all. THESE EFFECTS WILL NOT HAPPEN AFTER ONE WAXING and they vary from person to person.






waxing on your face will make your skin red and kind of itchy for at least a day... i wouldn't recommend it because the skin on your face is extra sensitive, especially if you have problems with breaking out from time to time

he's probably over reacting a little bit but it does make the hair not come in as think and what not that's why women don't shave they wax like eyebrows and such
