Ok i'm 13 years old and i am going to be waxing on top of my upper lip, im doing a plan to get the waxing strips without my mom knowing... So anyway, what are the good affects of facial waxing over my lip, and what are the bad affects? Plz answer my question and DO NOT TELL ME TO DO ANYTHING ELSE LIKE GOING TO A SALON. that is not true thatyour lip will be red all weekend^ , just depends if you are fair skinned. apply wax IN the direction of the hair growth and hold your skin taught and pull in the opposite direction for less pain then apply pressure after your pull the strip to relieve pain. You'll be fine.

THE GOOD EFFECTS are the hair doesn't come back for two to three weeks and it leaves it smooth and unnoticeable. and the BAD EFFECTS ARE that the waxed area is a little red for about an hour so i would avoid your mom for that amount of time... but good luck!! = )
well dont get a waxing kit that says the wax will form on your face and then you just pull it off. get strips for sure thats so important. dont touch the area. id do it like on a friday and not go out all weekend cause ull be red
