Bumps after doing facial waxing?

I went to a salon to have my eyebrows waxed and before I knew it they had talked me into waxing my whole face. I had recently been on steroids for a medical condition and had a little downy ';fur'; on my cheeks, chin and upper lip.


Within two hours of having the waxing done I broke out in red itchy rashy bumps. I've tried heat and ice and nothing is helping.


I've heard that vinegar might help.


I'll never have this done at a salon again. Who knows if it's a dermatitis thing from poor sanitation on their part or an allergic reaction.

They didn't put a waxing after cream on it? They're suppose to because after facial waxing redness and bumps are quite common. Put lotion onto it, baby oil and maybe olive oil. It needs moisture and the roots were pulled harshly, thus the bumps. It just needs soothing.Bumps after doing facial waxing?

If i were you i'd go back to the salon and ask them. They'll probably be the best people to tell you what's up =]
